In an exclusive interview with E Times, while talking about her views on Nehha Pendse replacing her in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!’ actress Saumya Tandon said, “I’m happy to hear this news. Nehha is a good choice. I have worked with her on a non-fiction show. While I hosted it, she performed gags in it. She is talented and professional. I am certain that she will do justice to the part. I have given my sweat, blood and heart to this character. I am glad she is portraying it.”
On being asked about her decision to quit the show, Tandon replied, “My decision to quit the show was well thought out. I had made up my mind. I had done what I had to and showcased what I had to showcase. It was time for me to move on and I did it with a lot of positivity. This break also gave me ample time to spend quality time with my family. All the major events in my life took place when I was working constantly, including marriage and motherhood. I am grateful that I got to be with my husband and baby during this time.”
Tandon is now looking forward to some exciting offers and playing meaning roles in future projects.
