Many Bollywood celebrities came forward to help the people who are suffering from COVID-19. So many people are suffering from Coronavirus and their financial situation is not good. Celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and others came forward to help them starting from providing food supplies, oxygen concentrators, shelter to financial aid and so on.
The duo has organized a charity to raise money for the covid patients and who are in need of oxygen supplies and vaccination. They both had raised over $1 million. On Thursday, they have posted a video where they conveyed about how thankful they are for the people who have contributed to the charity. And further said,”we are better together”.
Priyanka Chopra wrote on Instagram,”Through some of the darkest days in our history, humanity has once again proven that we are better together. @nickjonas and I are so humbled by your support and by the outpouring of help for India from so many parts of the world. Over 14,000 good Samaritans opened their hearts and helped us raise $1 Million in these trying times. Countless others helped us spread the world to expedite the process.”
“All the money raised is already being deployed across the country in the form of Oxygen Concentrators, Vaccine Support and so much more. We can all continue to help so let’s not stop here. We’re raising the fundraising target to $3 Million and we know that with your help and support, we can achieve this too.”

Otherwise, Nick Jonas had also played an important role as an fundraiser. He wrote that he is very thankful for the support. With combined efforts of 14,000+ donors from across the world, he has reached his goal of raising $1 million to support the people of India as they’re battling with the worst COVID-19 situation.
He further added,”Whether you donated or helped us spread the word, you have proven once again that we are better when we work together, so let’s not stop here. We are raising our fundraising target to $3 Million to continue to provide aid to those who need it most.”
On May 2nd, Priyanka Chopra had shared a video where it had shown how India is suffering from the second wave of COVID-19.
